What's Woodoku Online?
Woodoku Online is an interesting mix of Sudoku logic and wood stacking. Instead of stacking blocks falling from above, you have to freely arrange the wooden pieces on a 10x10 board, creating complete rows, columns, or squares to make them disappear.
What are the rules of Woodoku online?
Woodoku Online has simple but challenging game rules. Players will take turns receiving three random wooden blocks with different shapes (from long bars and square blocks to L and Z shapes, etc.) and then arranging them skillfully on the 10x10 board. When you complete a row or column, the blocks vanish, awarding you points. The game ends when there is no more space to place more wooden blocks.
How does Woodoku score online?
In Woodoku, your score depends on how many boxes you clear at once. Clearing a full row or column (10 consecutive boxes) earns you points, and the more boxes you remove in a single move, the higher your score. Mastering this is the secret to getting high scores!
5 golden rules when playing Woodoku online
- Prioritize clearing 3x3 boxes first; it's more effective than clearing individual rows/columns.
- Never fill the corners of the board early; the corners are "dead zones" that are difficult to clear.
- Always leave 1-2 empty rows in case you receive a large block unexpectedly.
- Place long blocks along the border; it is easy to create a complete row/column later.
- Sacrifice small blocks to save the board; sometimes you have to accept placing a 1-cell block in an unideal position.
"Deadly" mistake for new players of Woodoku Online
- Eager to clear the horizontal row in front of you but forget to calculate for the next blocks.
- Let the empty cells be divided, making it impossible to place large blocks later.
- Do not take advantage of Undo.
Unlike speed puzzle games, in Woodoku you do not need to play too fast; play slowly to observe and enjoy each move.
